The microSpider lite is an economical self-contained data logging and telemetry system. It includes all software, hardware, batteries and a built-in mobile phone module. The compact waterproof (IP-68) enclosure makes it suitable for installations in the toughest environments.
microSpider lite is ideal for simple applications such as metering, tank monitoring and level monitoring.
No software is required on your computer to set up or interrogate a microSpider lite.
The microSpider lite can:
- monitor inputs (analogue, digital, counters, frequency, quadrature/shaft encoder)
- generate SMS, email and twitter alarms
- record data
- send reports via e-mail, FTP or HTTP
- communicate via internal 3G/4G or LTE Cat M1 modem
- be used in wet environments
- operate for more than 5 years on its replaceable internal battery
- update software automatically in-field from remote servers, or update from connected PC.
The microSpider lite is ideal for short and long-term monitoring. It can interface with a wide range of sensors and meters. The browser interface makes it easy to set up and test, and there is no need for external power, batteries or solar panels.
The "M" variant features even lower power consumption by utilising the latest LTE Cat M1 communication technology.
microSpider lite can communicate over private networks as used by large government and commercial entities.
Once installed the microSpider lite will log data and automatically send reports directly to the end user via e-mail, FTP or HTTP.
No specialised web portals or software subscriptions are required.
User configurable alarms can send SMS, e-mail and twitter alarm messages and automatically initiate sending of data reports.
Note: A LANlink Cable (sold-separately) is required to connect the microSpider lite to a computer for configuration via the built-in web server.
